My 2005 Ford Escape with 136,000 miles, started to make a knocking noise that sounded like it was coming from the front of my car. It started to get louder especially as i drove on the freeway. 

I called the shop and spoke to Steve and let me tell you he's a very nice guy with great customer service skills over the phone. He took the time to talk to me over the phone. Not many places take the time to talk to you!, they only want the make, model and year and tell you to "Bring in the car, so we could check it out....click (hang up on you)". So the next day they towed my car to the shop for free.

A few hours later i got a call. The NEWS: A tranny rebuild ($1700)with the possibility of differential replacement ($350). COST: $1700-2050. Sucks!!! But still less then a re-manufactured tranny! They also told me i was leaking oil and my radiator was leaking. Wow...even more bad news!! Needed Second Opinions: Made calls to the other places, that wanted to charge me $3000-4000 for a rebuilt tranny alone. 

So after contemplating whether to buy a used car or get this one fixed. I decided finally to get it repaired. It runs like new now, and I got a lifetime warranty!

Having a dead tranny on your hands inspires a lot of varying emotions: Shock, panic, regret, you name it. Sometimes you get to feeling like you have no options when you're dealing with a problem that large. 

But one call in to Steve was all it took. They sent a tow truck up to pick up my car. A few days later they called with the news. As it turns out, the problem was pretty minor after all -- something was broken that attaches the transmission to my car -- & it didn't wind up costing much to fix. 

I had absolutely convinced myself that the transmission was shot & I was going to have to sell my car for parts. SWEET RELIEF! Anyway, Steve and the crew were awesome. I totally trust these guys & would strongly recommend them to anyone.
